Terms & Policies

 

Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the class is due to start.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • If cancelled 3 hours before the class is due to start you will receive a refund to your ChirpYOGA account.

  • If a class is cancelled with less than 3 hours notice before the class is due to start, there is no refund unless a medical reason is provided with a note from your medical practitioner. If a medical note is provided you will receive a refund to your ChirpYOGA account.

  • Refunds can only be processed through the original payment method and incur a 5% admin fee

  • 5 Class Pass is valid for 50 days from the date of purchase.

  • 10 Class Pass is valid for 120 days from the date of purchase.

  • Class Passes can only be extended/refunded with a note from a medical practitioner. Please email any requests to bookings@chirpyoga.com

  • Drop in, daytime, and evening classes are valid for 30 days from the date of purchase.

  • Once a Class Pass is purchased it cannot be transferred for use on any other ChirpYOGA product or service.

FREE CLASSES AND EVENTS:

Before, during and after free class and/or events hosted by ChirpYOGA we reserve the right to film and/or photograph these sessions and their participants for marketing purposes. By booking and attending this class/event you are giving your permission to be filmed and/or photographed and for those images to be stored and published by ChirpYOGA and any other individuals and/or businesses associated with ChirpYOGA.

COURSES

  • If cancelled with more than 48 hours notice before the course is due to start, we can refund the course fee to your ChirpYOGA account.

  • Refunds can only be processed through the original payment method and incur a 5% admin fee

  • If cancelled outside of the 48 hours notice period prior to the course starting, there is no refund unless a medical reason is provided with a note from your medical practitioner.

WORKSHOPS:

  • If cancelled with more than 48 hours notice, we can refund to your ChirpYOGA account.

  • Refunds can only be processed through the original payment method and incur a 5% admin fee

  • If cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, there is no refund unless a medical reason is provided with a note from your medical practitioner.

RETREATS:

International Retreats

  • To secure your place you must pay a deposit. All deposits are non-refundable.

  • If you want to cancel your retreat, you must contact us as soon as possible. To cover the cost of processing your cancellation, and to compensate us for the risk that we may not be able to resell your retreat arrangements, we will make a cancellation charge on the scale shown below. You are responsible for paying this charge.

  • 61-90 days before retreat – 40% of full cost

  • 22-60 days before retreat – 60% of full cost

  • 0-21 days before retreat – 100% of full cost

Day Retreats

  • If cancelled before 14 days notice we can refund the full amount to your Yoga Kula account.

  • Refunds can only be processed through the original payment method and incur a 15% admin fee up to a maximum charge of £5.

  • If cancelled outside of 14 days notice, there is no refund unless a medical reason is provided with a note from your medical practitioner.

Weekend Retreats

  • Non-refundable deposit of £50 per person is required to confirm booking. Balance must be paid 6 weeks before the retreat.

  • Cancellations: 50% of the balance is refundable to your ChirpYOGA account if cancelled up to 4 weeks before the start of the retreat.

  • We will not be able to offer any refund if the retreat is cancelled less than two weeks before the event.

CLASS PASSES:

  • You must purchase the correct pass for the class you are attending. For more information please refer to the price list online. You will not be admitted to the class with the incorrect pass.

  • We reserve the right to make changes to our prices, discounts, offers as and when we deem necessary for the effective running of ChirpYOGA.

TEACHER CLASS COVER:

Classes are usually taught by Susanne, and at times by Paul. On occasion to keep the classes running to schedule we may have to organise a cover teacher to take the class. Please note this cover teacher might not be from our list of regular teachers but all cover teachers are qualified and certified yoga teachers. Please check who is teaching your class before you attend in case of concern.

FACILITIES:

We welcome you warmly to ChirpYOGA! We want to maintain a Yogic atmosphere and to make sure we are considerate to the people we share our hamlet with.

Please follow these simple guidelines to ensure we maintain our lovely, peaceful atmosphere.

  • Please remove your shoes before entering the yoga space

  • Ensure your phone is switched off before the class starts

  • Please do not use your phone in the yoga space – if you need to make a call or send a text please do so in the dining or kitchen areas

  • If there is a class happening please speak in whispers so that the class is not disturbed

  • You can change in the bathroom upstairs

  • You are welcome to use the shower during retreat and workshop events

  • Please let the teacher know if you are suffering with an injury before the class is due to start

  • Please do not come to class if you have a bad cold which could be contagious

GIFT VOUCHERS:

  • Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.

  • Gift vouchers cannot be refunded.

Mailing List

We collect your personal information when you decide to interact with us. This is generally when you sign up to receive emails from us, and consent to receive news about our latest classes, events, offers or activities. We use Mad Mimi to deliver our newsletter and gather statistics around email opening and clicks using their insight tools to help us monitor and improve our newsletter. Social Media

Depending on your settings or the privacy policies for social media services like Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, we may access your personal information on those accounts when you message us. We also collect and track anonymised data on our social media audiences to better understand the profiles and behaviour of people who engage with us online. Why do we collect information from you

The personal information you supply when you join our email list is used to keep you up-to-date with our events and activities. It also helps us understand your needs better and contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information.
