This is a yoga flow class for all levels, but a basic foundational knowledge of yoga is useful. If you have questions about suitability just get in touch with us on bookings@chirpyoga.com
Previous yoga experience is helpful. If you are completely new to yoga, this is a good class to join after completing a beginners course or taking a couple of One-to-One sessions with Susanne.
Restorative Yoga
FRIDAY evening pop-ups @ 7pm * see booking site for dates
A wonderful and effective calming practice for body and mind. Resting over bolsters and blankets each posture allows the body to release and your mind to slow down, giving the nervous system a start up for regeneration. In stillness we can find space for reflection and relaxation, and you will emerge feeling refreshed and renewed.
Suitable for beginners to advanced yogis. Aids to relieve stress or stress related ailments, such as insomnia, muscle tension, anxiety, fatigue, high blood pressure or IBS, to mention but a few. We live busy lives and rarely take the time to truly rest - come along and your body and mind will love you for it :-)
Yoga Nidra
Pop-ups @ Goat Gap * see booking site for dates
The literal translation of Yoga Nidra is yogic sleep. This is a deeply relaxing practice where you are guided to an effortless state between wakefulness and sleeping, a place where deep healing and rejuvenation can take place. We start the sessions with pranayama (breathing) and restorative poses, before lying down comfortably and following a set of specific verbal instructions. You can expect to feel calm and relaxed afterwards.
In addition, Susanne teaches public classes at Coniston Spa in Skipton and Yoga Kula in Leeds. To book those classes please visit the Spa and Leeds studio websites.
For private one-to-one tuition and corporate classes please contact Susanne directly via bookings@chirpyoga.com.
